Review content:
After reading rave reviews for this restaurant, I decided to test it out during restaurant week. I assumed that the special menu would show a good balance of what they offered, using this chance to show hopeful clients why you should book large parties down the road...boy was I wrong! The crab bisque was nothing special, the ceviche was just OK, while the hanger Steak was extremely salty and the Mahi Mahi, although tender was under whelming in flavor. It was too bad the wine menu wasn't better written to indicate just how overly sweet their Gewurztraminer was before we had it served with our meal?definitely more of dessert wine taste. The desserts were the best part of the meal, and still were not great. We had the apple tart and the pistachio crème brulee. On the lighter side, the waiter was lovely. He maintained his smile as other diners were overly rude to him, and continued professionalism throughout the meal. The interior of the room was interesting to look at, but with so many hard edges it was terribly difficult to have a conversation at even this small table. I think the $30.03 special menu was highly over-priced.
