Review content:
Maybe I was longing for the old Brasserie, that used to occupy this space, or maybe I wanted to feel I was in Paris, neither of which happened. It worked well for our group. Many of us enjoyed the special lobster dinners - reasonably priced for a large lobster, steamed or broiled, accompanied by a small side of risotto. Baguettes, wrapped in a napkin, are placed on the table with French butter. They were tasteless. Drinks were good and it was particularly fun that they had a special 50% off any bottle of wine. To be fair, many people would find this perfectly acceptable, particularly if trying to please a wide assortment of tastes. The chocolate beignets are memorable and should not be missed. The place is lively but not too loud to talk, casual enough and certainly when there are specials, one of the better deals in the area.
