I recently purchased a 2011 F10 (535i) from Greg Poland at Pacific BMW in Glendale, CA. I live in Florida and couldn't find a dealer that was willing to sell me a car for anywhere close to invoice cost. MSRP was more the order of the day around these parts. I learned about Greg from this forum and he quickly provided me a quote on the exact vehicle I wanted. His invoice numbers matched those from the report I purchased from Consumer Reports (yes, I know the true invoice numbers aren't public, but at least it's a starting point) and his +$500 was clear and up front. He and his dealership do not mark up money factors, acquisition costs or impose absurd administrative fees. They pass on the fees directly from BMWFS and only charge about $45 for paperwork, etc. (the local dealer charged $695 "everybody pays it" or so they say). Not only did Greg order exactly the car I wanted, he coordinated a Performance Center Delivery at the plant in Greenville, SC (great option for East coast buyers), knew how to structure the multuiple security deposit program and the nice lady that manages all of the F&I items for his dealership Fedex'd me the papers and they were all in perfect order. I was tenative to order a car over the internet but Greg is as advertised. I think I spoke with him two times and we probably emailed five times over the course of the 12 weeks between ordering and delivery. Without hesitation, I would recommend a purchase from him no matter where you are located.
