My (now) husband and I went shopping for engagement rings together before we got engaged. We decided to go to Bellman's because a friend had referred us. They have a great selection (and, if you don't see something you like, they are more than happy to design something for you)! Even though we were not looking at 3-carat diamonds, they treated us like we were. The service is great! My husband ended up going back to design my ring on his own. When he gave it to me, I was in awe- it is absolutely beautiful! To this day, I still shop there (and we got engaged 5 years ago), and will for years to come. Definitely check them out- no matter how much you're looking to spend!
