Review content:
Made famous by the Schultz and Dooley beer commercials from the early days of TV, the Matt Brewery has evolved in recent years with the constant improvement and additions to its Saranac beer line. They produce a very wide array of brews, from March (Maerzen) beer to a signature Christmas brew, and from Belgian Whites to Black Forest stouts. The most famous (and most easy to find) option is the decent Saranac Pale Ale, but for the real treat, try any of the other special variations of the Saranac line. My favorites are the India Pale Ale, the Black Forest and any of the beers in the incredibly hard-to-find 12 Beers of Summer Collection.
