Review content:
We checked out of our hotel and had time to get one last good meal before heading back to California. The crab shack is the opposite direction of the airport and is off the beaten path in Tybee Island! I saw this on Yelp and figured it was a tourist trap with mediocre food. I couldn't have been more wrong! Don't let the alligator pits and cats running everywhere fool you, come here for the seafood. I ordered the Captains Crabs sampler seafood platter for one - Stone crab, blue crab, snow crab, peel and eat shrimp, crawfish, mussels, potatoes and corn came out piled on a large platter tray. All the seafood was so fresh and sweet tasting delish, even the white corn was tasty. Our server Morgan was such a sweet southern gal. I've heard about the southern hospitality and I experienced it everywhere in Savannah GA. I will definetly come back here when I return to Savannah.
