Review content:
I'd been a regular at WISH, next door to the Cow, for a while before I finally ventured in. I was disappointed. I've been conditioned by SF's great selection of clubs with luxurious decor, innovative drinks, and world-class hip-hop and house DJs. Holy Cow can't stand up to the competition. The crowd, the drinks, and even the people are completely forgettable. Worse, the music was cheesy, sanitized disco and top 40. To their credit, the bartenders were very attentive, and the place was bursting with energy. But with Paradise, Luna, WISH, and megaclub 1015 so nearby, I don't plan on coming back to the Cow.
Pros: great bartenders, energetic people
Cons: bad music, bad atmosphere, boring crowd
