My sister and I were looking for something to do at 1:30 am Dec 16. We were told by the valet at our hotel to check out the Mansion. At first we went to a club next door for about 30 min. It was empty and seemed to have a lot of unattractive people there (except the staff who was very attractive). We left and went to the mansion. Initially we were told to pay $300 for a VIP table. We wanted to see the crowd first because we were not impressed with the people on the side walk who looked real corny. After a few minutes, we were allowed inside. We did notice one of the door men was not allowing us in because we are not size zero. However, when he noticed how much attention we drew on the streets by all of the other guys, he waived us through. The drinks were very weak especially for $11. No set dance floor and a lot of pretentious people were there. It was funny to us because they wanted to be ballers but they were fakes. So that night we did not see any celebs. The music was like any other club - nothing to fresh especially for a Saturday night. The bouncers were friendly and cool. The bartender was a little snotty. She seemed really bored with making drinks and ready to get off the clock. Whereas the bartendar at the club next door was very cool and conversational, the bartendar at the Mansion could care less about working for extra tips. I would recommend it to someone who had confidence and the look. Even if you're not a size zero, as long as you're an hour glass figure (nice hips and apple butt a plus) with a cute face, you will be let into the club. Don't expect too much stardom, though. The people did seem pretty corny and weak compared to some of the upscale clubs I've been too before. Honestly, the cover charge should be $5 since you can either take this club or leave it. Pros: Something to do and place to go just to say you've been there. Very cute bouncers. Cons: Having to stand outside because the door man's thought of beauty doesn't match most men.
