Review content:
I can only recommend this place for seasoned dancers.
I went early on a Saturday evening hoping to take advantage of their "lessons" which are noted here and
on their website. Unfortunately, after traveling very far (I live across town), waiting (they didn't open at 9),
paying $16 to get in ($6 parking, $10 cover), and probably a good 20% premium for drinks ($5 for a
Heineken), there were no lessons to be found. An attendant confided they arbitrarily decide to do
lessons depending on turnout. Surprisingly, there seemed to be enough people there... both men and
women. I have been to similar clubs (not Latin of course) where things were much better organized and
you didn't have to pay $$ to find out the hard way.
The inside was nice, the dance floor good, and the sound system was adequate for dancing. I did get the
sense I was not part of the "clique" from the start. To make matters worse management wasn't terribly
friendly either.
If you are a good dancer I think you can have a good time here, but if you are like me, someone
trying to find a regular place with his girl to become a better Salsa dancer, you might be better off trying
one of the other places... I will.
Pros: Good for seasoned dancers
Cons: Parking, cost, feel
