Review content:
Dr. Selick is personable, reassuring, and professional. Unlike many doctors who seem rushed and almost annoyed, she really listens to her patients and is open to questions.
She will work with you to find solutions to your health issues - for instance, adjusting The Pill Rx if it appears to be causing headaches or weight gain. She also gave me a nice referral to another doctor when I had a non-gyn issue (and even asked first: "would you prefer a woman or a man doctor?")
I also like that she asked me to come in twice per year instead of once each year because she prefers to keep a closer eye on patients taking the pill. You may interpret this as a profit-boosting tactic, but I see it as genuine commitment to her patients' health.
She also appears to have a thriving fertility practice. I saw her mentioned in the Gay City News for having helped a lesbian couple to get pregnant.
She shares her practice with another, older male doctor, Charles Debrovner.
