This is my letter I sent to Luna. Be advised Luna is a rip. Go to Home Depot, Menards. Empire also costs less than Luna.
Yesterday I had a lady named Virginia call me with a follow up to my in home estimate. Before that Luna called and an automated message asked me to wait for a representative. FYI, if you are calling my home you should be ready to talk to me and not have me waiting for you. Let me start by saying that Empire had carpeting for less. So I told Virginia the situation that Empire was less and that for the estimate I had, I could install Bruce flooring for $300 more. She automatically got an attitude and said "No you can't". Well nowhere did I tell her that I need someone to install a floor for me because it does not take a genius to do so. The carpeting that I liked would cost me $1900.00 and Bruce flooring will cost me $1500 and with taxes $1700. So yes, flooring is cheaper. I also told Virginia that my budget is about $1100.00. She said she would call me back. She called me back and she told me that all she could offer me is industrial carpet. Then she proceeds to say that I set my budget too low and that's all I'll get with my price. I found it rude and obnoxious. You should be embarrassed to even call me back and offer me office carpeting for a bedroom. She would have been better not even calling me back. I went to Carpet Castle today and they can do a nice berber with 1/2 in. padding for $1100. Also, Home Depot offers soft supple carpeting for $7.20 a square yard and Mendards offers textured soft carpeting for $14.50 a square yard. So I don't know why you don't compete more with others and why you find it ok to offer someone industrial carpeting for a bedroom. Shame on you.
