I expected a lot out of this place because the reviews were so good online. I went to the Heights Massage & Day Spa for a bikini and lower leg wax. It was my first time for the bikini wax. I thought I was just getting a regular bikini wax, but the waxist, Maribella, convinced/coherced me to get a French one instead. Overall I think the results were ok for my bikini area. She was asking me to hold down on the skin while she did her ripping, but would snap at me if I didn't and said it was my fault that I was going to bruise in one particular area. She didn't give me a warning as far as when to be holding the skin and when I could relax. For that, I would give her low ratings in customer service. I also had my legs waxed, which I have gotten done before. I thought my fiance did a better job waxing my legs than her. I only say that because she missed a few areas of hair on my leg. Otherwise her technique was good. I think the people who work there could be more honest, over the phone they told me my results should last about 4-6 weeks but once I was finished and they started trying to schedule my next appointment they told me the wax results would only last about 2 weeks! I am going to give it one more shot, only because the reviews online are really good (I'm hoping I just got stuck with the wrong people). If I get pushed into additional treatments or have a poor customer service experience again I won't be back.
