Keep a few things in mind when you call a shop like this for an appointment. It's a small town shop and has it's customer base for years. They will wait on you if you're a few minutes late and rarely can you expect to run in for and appt and get in the chair exactly on time and out on time. Look around at the customers, they will mostly all know one another and it's as much a social event as getting a cut, style or whatever. This is evidently not the kind of place you are accustomed to so you might want to re-thing what you do next time. There's a reason good stylists work in a shop like this and why people come there.
