After years of so-so experiences with various hairstylists, I took my long, thick mane of hair to Carrie @ R Salon. She did a fantastic job with my cut, color, & style. She listened to my preferences & then proceeded to exceed each one. She is talented & eager to please...I cannot say enough about how happy I am with her work. My hair looks better than ever before. The salon atmosphere is welcoming & beautifully decorated. You will not be disappointed if you book a hair experience with her. more

I have been going to Thomas Porter for years and whole heartedly recommend him for LMT massages (at my own peril for future appointments ;-). R Salons atmosphere is welcoming, friendly and quite convenient at 20th and Camelback. It's a great choice for a location Thomas! more

R Salon is AWESOME! 11/4/2010

I work as the massage therapist at this salon. I started with Rick (the owner) about 9 years ago. It's a great place to work and a fantastic full service salon. Great experience 11/3/2010

Carrie Jenkins at R Salon in Phoenix, Arizona is a treasure. She does an excellent job cutting and styling my hair. I always receive compliments after a hair appointment. She is flexible and accommodating with appointments. She works efficiently and diligently. She is personable, charming, and enjoyable. She gets an A+ in my book. more

I could say I keep going back to this salon because I get great haircuts...or because I love the scalp massage when I get shampooed...but honestly I think it is more the fact I feel comfortable and appreciated .The salon is open,bright and colorful ..looks like a New York studio. They have photos of their work on the walls not some poster they bought and stuck up.Personally I like the conversations I have with Rick about current issues and Politics...my boyfriend tells me he never talks about those things with Rick - apparently they talk fashion - go figure. The staff is friendly - the service great - and it's close to my work- what more can you ask for? more

Heather Hacker/Great Experience! 8/7/2010

I have had frizzy, course hair all of my life...Heather told me about the Brazilian Blowout, which she said would make my hair tame....after a great cut and blowout, my hair is shiny, and healthy looking. The Brazilian Blowout is supposed to last for a few months...my hair gets a break from the flatiron! Thanks Heather! more

I have been going to Heather for several years now and she is the absolute best stylist ever. She not only listens to exactly what you want, she is so meticulous in her work, that you would be hard pressed to find anyone else who is as good as she is. Her color expertise is unmatched and she gives fabulous cuts and even extensions! She always knows what the latest trends in cuts and colors are, and can help you decide what is the best option for YOU. Heather's Amazing Cut and Highlight 8/4/2010

I have just moved from San Francisco to the Phoenix area and found Heather right away! Her cutting style was perfect and was able to execute exactly what I had in mind. Being super nervous and picky with trying new things with my hair, I was able to show Heather a picture of the color and highlighted look I wanted.....and she gave me just that! She is so sweet, her prices are manageable ( even for me as a grad student) and the salon is clean and trendy! R Salon has a new hairdresser, my favorite hairdresser! Heather Hacker has been cutting and styling my hair for years now. I have never been disappointed with any color, cut or style. On top of all the color, cutting and styling Heather also puts HAIR EXTENSIONS in for me! They are fun and instant long sexy hair, can't give them up now.... everyone loves my hair!!!
