Hassle Free 5/28/2012

After shopping at a lot of furniture stores  it was refreshing to find a store with a stress free environment. There were no pressures to buy and the staff was patient with my decisions. The vast variety of fabrics and designs made it even easier for me to find the perfect piece of furniture for my living room. A friend of mine told me to come here and i'm happy i did. more

Incredibly Rude Owner!!!!!!!!!!! 4/16/2011

Good: Nothing after dealing w/ the owner. Absolutely no idea of what customer service is.. Bad: Rude, condescending, combative owner. I cannot believe this store would ever have repeat customers.. Improvements: Someone that knows the meaning of customer service.. Other: I would never recommend this establishment after my experience with the owner. She was verbally abusive to my 70 yr old mother. When we commented that the couch my mom received seemed darker than what was displayed in the store the owner became very irate and started yelling! Forget being a poor example of a business owner...she's just an awful example of a human being. I'm sorry I had to give this store a rating of even one star because they just don't deserve it!. more

Easy to work with 7/9/2010

Everyone was very accommodating when I went in to look for a specific Broyhill sofa. They had a great selection of fabrics I could special order. Very laid back atmosphere, no high pressure. more

A Better Shopping Experience 2/9/2010

I like that I can shop in peace and not be dogged by salespeople. They sell mostly traditional furniture, but I was able to find a nice conteporary bedroom for my teenager. The only down side is they close at six so plan accordingly. more

A STORE THAT CARES 2/1/2010

I had bought a bed 5 years ago somewhere else and could not find the Broyhill furniture to match. i went to Plantation and the staff bent over backwards to find a matching piece. I didn't find anything but will go back again when I need something. more

Still at it 4/22/2009

My mother and I went there about 8 years ago and we were treated as though they were doing us a favor waiting on us. My mother wanted a bedroom suite that was VERY expensive but we ended up walking out due to the snobbish owner. Sorry to see that they haven't learned any manners yet! more

Great Value 3/10/2009

Had a wonderful experience. I liked the "laid back" attitude. Great staff, great deal on a sofa too. Sofa was delivered SAME DAY and even came with complimentary throw pillows.. Thanks guys! more

My FAVORITE Store 3/10/2009

I could spend hours in this store. Everything is decorated so well. It is a shame people only take time to write a review when they are unhappy. I thought would take time to let people know these are good people. I don't think they treat people unfairly or they wouldn't have been in business over 20 years. go check them out! more

The owner of this store is UNBELIEVABLY rude and condescending. I have never been made to feel more small and unworthy as a customer. I wish I would have read these reviews before entering this store. more

Low Stock, Rude and Poor Customer Service 11/21/2007

Selection looks nice, but they have very low stock. Promises made by salespeople were not held up to later. Owner was iratable and unbelievably rude. She acted as if "customer service" was a foreign concept. I will never shop there again and I would encourage others to avoid this place like the plague. Plenty of other places that carry the same brands and quality that treat you nicer. more

Not very impressed 12/29/2005

I was just at this location about a week ago. I found their salespeople to be down right rude. They do not acknowledge you when you walk in ( and you are the only one there!) You ask a question as simple as "do you know when you will be getting more in because I am very interested" and the reply is "umm I am not for sure" not I will check or anything. The saleslady walked off and offered nothing! I will not ever go here again! Nice selection if you are into the cottage style. more

great price, quality and friendly staff 9/6/2005

When looking for a dining room suite, I decided to visit Plantation because I had heard that it was a "down-home" family operated business. The showroom I visited was fantastic - as the only authorized Broyhill showcase gallery, they had a huge and extensive line of Broyhill products for every room in your house. Although their selection was massive, they styles I found were limited - there was a lot to chose from if you liked traditional, country or cottage furniture but they were lacking in contemporary and modern pieces. The staff was very friendly and their customer service was great - not overly pushy at all. The prices were reasonable and were in line with other places I had visited so that was also a plus. Oh, and lots of parking too! more
