La Z Boy is having something of a comeback, with designer furniture and improved quality. I never would have thought that I'd buy something there....but I found a sleeper air mattress couch that seemed just as good as one I'd been eying at Ethan Allen....and $1k less. The sales people were really nice...and when they had an end of the year "no tax" sale, they cheerfully made sure I got the tax refunded, even though I was a week early. The couch, it turns out, is not the best.....and it came with ugly pillows. But...if you are going with lazboy, these are great people.
