I go to ben franklins usually for yarn. they have a much wider selection than michael's or jo-ann's but the prices are on the pricey side. usually for non-worsted weight yarns i will order at knitpicks.com. i've never seen ben franklin's have sales on yarns (unless it is stuff that i don't want to work with anyway). i come to ben franklins when i want something that isn't available at michaels or jo-anns
