would never recommend this vet to anyone. I goal is to see them out of business FOREVER. I took my dog in for a spay on March 27th 2008. I was given this dog by a family that was getting foreclosed on. I had the dog checked out and told the vet i was told she was 5 years old. At her pre-op inspection the vet never question my guess of her age. When I picked her up from the spay the doctor said she was old at about 8 or 9. I was furious to wonder why this only now after the surgery was that brought to my attention and that maybe had they called me ahead and said it would be a difficult recovery I would have opted not have it done. later that night she wasn't eating or drinking. I called the vet the following morning and they stated if no improvement I would have to bring my almost 100lb dog in for fluids and pain shot.
We took her in and they came to my car and gave her fluids and pain shot (this is Friday). Come Saturday she still wasn't eating or drinking. My concerns grew. We again took her in for more fluids. She still wasn't eating and even refused baby food. Our first sign of hope came Sunday afternoon where we got her to eat a small bone. Monday morning at 5AM she took her last breath. It was clear by the swelling and temperature of her belly she had an internal infection. No antibiotics were giving to me at any time. My family was heart broken. When we took her to the vet on Monday morning to show them what they had done they tried to charge us $1 per pound to dispose of her treating us like she was trash and waste.
They have cold hearts and should no longer be able to practice medicine. Dr. Fahmy killed my dog and didn't take our concerns for real.
