I have had many above-average meals at Thai Orchid and wonder where Rachel Z. got the notion that the many tables and chairs were not for dining-in.
Having spent several years in Southeast Asia - specifically in Thailand and Singapore, I am happy to report that this modest restaurant delivers authentic tastes and freshly prepared meals at reasonable prices. The servers have always been patient and courteous and I suggest that you visit the Thai Orchid.
Ratings give me hives, but I would say Thai Orchid is better than good and I'm not sure what qualifies as great, so I give it a 3.5.
