I had my first experience dining at SF's popular modern Vietnamese Restaurant, The Slanted Door Restaurant last night and was reminded once again how incredibly good Little Saigon is. The food at Little Saigon beats The Slanted Door’s hands down for flavor and cost. Little Saigon’s Shaking Beef cuts with a fork and melts in your mouth, something I can’t say about The Slanted Door’s. And there’s no comparison on the Clay Pots. Little Saigon’s wins by a mile. The service at the Slanted Door was probably slightly more polished, but take into consideration the price of Little Saigon’s food and the friendliness of the servers and I will continue to be a regular customer.
