We purchased a very costly home office system and have had nothing but problems with Naked Furniture. First off, they delivered the wrong size curio, so they had to re-order this piece from the manufacturer. No effort was made to expedite this process and I was told I’d have to wait 8-10 weeks with part of my desk missing. I was appalled at this, and I ended up having to wait 17 weeks for the correct curio to arrive which was completely unacceptable! In the meantime, there were many defects with the remainder of the desk. The hinges on the doors weren’t holding, the cabinet doors were way out of alignment, there were gaps between the pieces, the trim wasn’t flush, there were no cabinet door bumpers, the keyboard tray was wobbly, the finish job was very careless with stain slopped all over the metal slides, light spots where putty didn’t take the stain, and glue lines showing. The filing cabinet didn’t have hardware to hold files so that had to be re-made as well. But worst of all was the insides of the drawers: they weren’t finished whatsoever and there were HUGE splinters where the hardware was attached! When the new pieces finally arrived in Oct. (over 6 months later) they were supposed to fix the issues I complained about, but they only address 2 of the 9 problems. On top of that, a shelf was missing from the new curio! Naked Furniture’s service was just as despicable as their product. I called repeatedly to voice my complaints and request a partial refund but nothing was done, so I wrote letters (including photos) and requested that a manager come evaluate the issues. When nobody responded I tried to send the entire product back but was also refused this request so I was stuck with a piece of junk that I paid nearly $4000 dollars for! Please, do not do business with this hoax of a company. They are not a member of the Chamber of Commerce or the Better Business Bureau- I guess it’s no surprise. They don’t care if their customers are satisfied and they certainly do not run a decent business. Please tell everyone you know to boycott this establishment so that others don’t end up as angry and dissatisfied as I am! more
