I was married at Magnolia Springs Manor in 2002. We never received our deposit back and received promise after promise that it would be sent. Finally we gave up although I wished I had filed a complaint with the BBB at the time. The wedding was a success overall and Doug did deliver on most of what he promised to do (there was an issue with the Rolls we were promised & a couple of other errors); however everything was last minute and I was a wreck worrying about everything getting done on time. We also have friends that never received their deposit back from him when renting the Donnelly House. I don't think he ever refunds deposits to anyone so if you decide to use either house realize your deposit is most likely forfeited.
