I went to dinner for myself and take home for my family for the first time today. I had a coupon for buy an entrée get one free. I was asked if I'd like to try there wings. I told the waitress I had a coupon and would order to go, but since they were offering there wings for 35 each I'd try some. I got them and they were pretty good. A lot of sauce and taste pretty good. They were a little over cooked, but not terrible. I added an order of fries and blue cheese which was also good. I then proceeded to get my to go order and decided since I liked the wings I would go ahead and get some more. I ordered 20 more with my 2 entrées. When I went to pay I was told by the cashier and manager that I couldn't use my coupon since i had wings. This made no sense to me since I not only bought what the coupon said buy 1 entrée and get one free I also added a drink fries and wings and blue cheese. I would assume that any business would love to up sell someone with a coupon. Thats the point get them in the door try the food and sell sell sell and get them to come back. But NO!!! I tried to get this point across to the dumbfounded guy they call the manager or maybe he was the owner I don't know, but he was so worried that since they were offering wings EVERY TUESDAY for 35 cents that he was going to lose money honoring a coupon and I was told since I had wings I couldn't use it. I said fine...ring them up separate or I can leave and come back and he told me I couldn't order there again for a day!!!! What management school did this gut go to?!?!? So I told him I didn't want the extra orders. He snatched the entrées out of my bag including the blue cheese I paid $2 for and made me pay for the wings and what i had previously ate. If only I was a little younger and hadn't learned to be civil :) I would have made him eat all of it. How rude he was. They will not survive doing business like that, well because its rude and wrong and not well thought out and they don't offer anything special that 5 other places with ine 10 minutes don't offer, so they have to sell atmosphere and service. I was glad I had found a new place to eat. Me and my family eat out 4-5 days a weeks mostly 2 meals per day and now they will never have me return and I will ensure I tell everyone how this guy acted. The waitress I had was nice. Not really super attentive, seemed like no one really wanted me there anyway.
