I've been to Athena a couple of times now and have had my hair cut by the same high-ranking stylist. The first cut was great--literally the best haircut I've had in years. The second time I went, I told the receptionist I was on a tight lunch schedule and she assured me I'd have plenty of time. Thirty minutes after my scheduled appointment time I was finally getting my hair cut, with several interruptions along the way and a so-so result. My last time going will literally be just that--my last. A request for "one inch off" turned into three inches, and I had to almost beg her to stop before my bangs got any shorter. There were again several phone calls and interruptions, even though the reception staff was there. I felt as though I was an afterthought rather than the focus, which is not something you want to feel at these prices. Although the stylists are talented, there's just too much distraction and not enough attention paid to the customers.
