The Redford Co-Op Preschool has been in existence for a long time, with the same teacher. My 14 year old started there when he was 4, and "Miss Penny" is still there! The Co-Op was a great place for children to learn through playing, and for parents to meet and become friends. I am still great friends with several people that I met there. One word of caution, however. It is a Co-Op so parents are expected to take an active part in the running of the school. You have to volunteer to help in class on a regular basis and you also have to hold a job. I loved it and it did help me to continue to be actively involved in my children's education, but if you're looking for a place to drop your child off and forget about it, this is not the place for you.
