Mike G. says: It sounds like Song R. has a negative appraisal of most social services agencies–it maybe he has been in most of them and his life is not going well. To blame and scapegoat is a typical response by people who have failed attempts at recovering from addiction. In addition, (although not surprised) I am puzzled by Song's attack on the Substance Abuse Foundation of Long Beach and his claim of corruption. Most people I think praise people for being survivors and having jobs. As for those staff Song claims are using drugs, I seriously doubt if they allowed Song to drug test them. Song’s rhetoric sounds a lot like the kind of angry and judgmental person who has had multiple treatment failures, and in order to avoid looking at “the beam in their own eye,” they blame others for their suffering and failings.
