My experience was completely the opposite. Dr. Starr would not listen to my list of symptoms deeming them not relative to my condition. I ended up having celiac which I showed all the symptoms for then, and is a disease often directly related to the thyroid disease she did diagnose me with. Furthermore, after a year or so under her care, she told me to see an endocrinologist to have a surgery that both endocrinologists said I shouldn't have. She also set me up to have an unnecessary MRI that was not covered by my insurance and that she knew I couldn't pay for. I do not reflect upon that time of my treatment fondly.
