We bought a share in AvianMead's CSA a few years ago, and it was wonderful. They deliver or you pick up (depending on how close you are to them) fresh vegetables, and sometimes fruit or flowers every week. You only get what's ready, because your food doesn't get stored for weeks or shipped from different climates.
