Dang How - CV staple Asian food 8/1/2007

Dang How has always been a locals favorite for Asian basics. But over the years the menu has stayed the same and crowd is not very diverse. They seem to pleased with the bland taste of Dang How. They feature a few good promotions that keep the crowds thick. But the basic Dan How costumer continues to order the basic fried rice chow mien and sweet pork. They must sell buckets of that. The service is slo and I would be surprised to see Asian costumers in this place. And it tastes like it was prepared in a bucket. The other items on the menu are not bad. Its amazing how the basic fan of Dang How never veers from the standard dishes. There are other Asian Restaurants in CV worthy of the crowds Dang How gets. Not sure why the Valley taste hasn't discovered the great Thia and Manderian places just down the street from this Restaurant. I do not recommend this place.. even if you have the 1/2 off coupon.. spend the extra 3,00 bucks and try the other Asian spots in the Valley - Vmedia Castro Valley more
