I was changing jobs and had to upgrade from work-at-home running suits to business suits with 1 week's notice. I found designer pants suits there for about $60 each. I had already seen Nordstrom's $900 suits that were off-the-rack and ill-fitting. For $60 I could get them tailored to fit me and look great. The following week, I am embarrassed to report that I splurged and paid $500 for an Armani pants suit that turns heads when I wear it.
