I have been a boarding and training client at McKenna kennels for over 2 years. I have spent extensive time with the owners and training/boarding staff both on and off of the main property. I have a sincere appreciation for the passion and commitment that they have for the care, training and well-being of all of the dogs that they handle. Everything that I have observed suggests a deep respect for the dogs. These folks have been working with dogs on this property for at least 3 generations. I don’t think you can commit your life to the dog profession unless you truly love the animals, and it shows in the entire operation.
Like others who have posted, I drive in from the Seattle area to board my dogs. Without question, the facility is better than any of the kennels that are available in the city. I have also been extremely impressed with the training program, which takes into account the specific needs of each dog. I would highly recommend them to anyone for boarding or training.
