Wayside Furniture House on Hillsborough Street is a good place to shop for furniture if you’re looking for high-end. The prices were quite expensive, but they have a fairly large selection. While we were there, no one even approached us to ask us if we needed any help. I guess we didn’t look like their normal high-end clientele. Also, the place was in desperate need of a renovation with various kinds of dirty carpet patched together in a labyrinthine setup. On the plus side, they do have their own delivery trucks, and a friend who bought a couch from them said that they were very prompt with the delivery and took good care of it as they were bringing it in and getting it situated.
