I used to get jealous when my sister-in-law would rave about Alamo Ice House on the other side of town. She and her husband often go there for a night out. There they could watch movie and have dinner and drinks at the same time. Now I am jealous no more. Star Cinema Grill offers dinner and a movie close to home. It is in the spot of an older movie theatre. They have taken out every other row of seats and added tables. When you want to order something there is a little pen light on your table that you push. The food is pretty great for the price and where the concession stand used to be is a full service bar. Children must be accompanied by an adult which makes for less craziness during the actual movie. Now one thing this doesn't have is stadium seating. If you want that head on down to Cinemark.
