There is enough to see and do here to spend the day. Tons of shops to browse through, although it has become a big tourist area, the prices reflect that fact. Parking is also expensive, and the area is so congested, it can be hard to park. Be war of the "volunteers" who stop you to give you a warning that you are not smiling enough or having enough fun. They are just trying to get you to give them money. There are also other things to see if you walk to the neighboring piers, such as the submarine, and the aircraft carrier.
