This is a beautiful park that the Cedar River flows through. It is located in Linn County just west of Mount Vernon. This park is 840 acres. There are big river bluffs and deep ravines. You will enjoy a variety of wildflowers, wildlife and lots of hardwood trees. You will also find lots of fossils along the river in the rocks. This is a great place to take the kids for field trip. There are also areas for picnics and campfires. You have to remember to carry out your own trash.
