I ordered an evaporation fan motor from this company on May 1, 2007 and was given a condenser fan motor instead. When I pointed out that it was the wrong motor I was told I had no choice but to take the wrong part and could NOT have my money back. It was very obvious that it was the wrong part, the condenser motor is round and the evaporation motor is square. I had brought the part in when I ordered it, it had the part number printed clearly on the part to be ordered. Yet, the Manager of Saginaw Valley Service is so incompetent at her job that she could not order the right part even though the part number was right in front of her face! After my refridgerator was out of order for over 1 week and after having argued with this incompetent manager for over 3 days I finally got part of my money back. They kept 25% restocking fee because of THEIR own error! Pending is a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer Fraud Division of the local police. I would NEVER recommend this company for either parts or service to anyone!! Instead I would recommend Servall, located on 630 W. Kearsley St. Flint, Michigan. They have excellant customer service, the part only took 1-2 days to be delivered to my home and the people working there know what they are doing and are very courtious to their customers. They also have an excellant refund policy, with no restocking fees or fees or any kind, plus an extended life time warranty and a 10% discount coupon for the next purchase if I need anything. I was very impressed with Servall! Please save yourself the aggrevation and frustration and go to Servall! more
