After two other incidents of having to go back to VCA for extra blood testing because Antech accidentally threw away my cat's sample (twice), I brought my cat in for his yearly check up/ blood work. I was called and told that the results were fine. Over two months later, my cat became ill. When I brought him in, they informed me that there was a mistake, and that the blood work results never came in. Upon retesting, it was found that my cat was not well and needed treatment. What did they do about their mistake? They offered an apology. Nothing more. After sharing this story with a few friends, I heard many other "horror" stories about VCA Burbank and was advised to contact an animal rights lawyer.
