I thought I had trouble finding the place. According to Google, University Ave. was right off Fair Oaks Blvd. NOT! But I drove around a bit and finally found the street where American River Hearing was located. Then my experience was wonderful! I got my testing done, heard about the different possibilities of assistance since I am already a hearing aide user. Meghann K. had information via computer of the aides I am now wearing and how my hearing is now with the tests compared. What was even more wonderful was during our conversation and my questions I did not feel the pressure of having to buy new aides as I had in the past experiences. The office continues to utilize the brand I now use. I left with the feeling that I am being handled as a patient that has alternatives to be cared for as a patient's needs at the present. There was no hard sale to purchase new aides right away. This experience for me is something different from the past 12 years of needing hearing aides.
