In our town, we have very little in the way of no kill shelters. This is no exception. We have a large amount of animals here who are abandoned, or dropped off due to the owner not being able to care for them. And this operates on basically donations and volunteers. There is low spay and neuter available in the county but it's still too much for some to pay, so the unwanted animals are brought here.
We have a few pet rescue groups but not enough to go around. This is a sad place, if you are seeking a pet, please don't buy it from a pet store.
