I will be the first to admit that I have never liked donuts. Never.
I won a promotion from Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for an entire dozen of their golden anythings.
Hubby and kiddo were excited beyond belief to go here. So off we went. We tried the drive up window, but there were just too many choices to be made so we just *had* to go in.
Well, boy oh boy is that a place to go to. You can actually see the machines, watch the machines make the wonderful doughnuts and doughnut holes...and even frost them.
We also learned that if you see the neon light on outside that means that they are making some at that very moment.
The large windows where you can watch, have a platform that you can stand on so that you can see down into the machines and really watch what was going on.
Also, if you never been to one, they will give you ONE FREE donut just for stopping in.
Awesome!
It was a fun trip, and I walked out of the place liking donuts for the first time in my life.
Will I be back? I already have been!!!
