Just came back from a party at Mabenka's. Since I'm of polish heritage I must say the food was delicious, especially the golabki (stuffed cabbage). If I didn't know better I would have thought my mom was in the kitchen. I even ordered a few to take home.
The salad was cold and fresh , the cucumber salad was perfect. Roasted chicken, beef, sauerkraut, Lithuanian sausage, chicken soup, dumplings all very good. What a feast. The serving girls where very pleasant and efficient.
