I've been a patient for over 5 years and only stayed because I liked my doctor. The office staff is and always has appeared to be a revolving door of incompetent HS dropouts (in scrubs no less). To combat this image, the Office Manager is apparently under the impression that if they loop a 3 minute recording on wonderful they are, and how important your call is to them, you won't notice that you have been on hold for an interminable time before they answer your call. And that's just the beginning. You'll never see your doctor at the time of your appointment. After 35-40 minutes in the waiting room, someone will open the door and yell "Bob!" and three guys will get up and move to the door until the "nurse" (not really a nurse) will have to sort out which Bob she was calling, and have the other two go back and sit down. Meanwhile, the "lucky" Bob will be escorted to an exam room only to wait an additional 25-30 mins before being seen, but he won't be without entertainment because he'll hear every detail of the lady's yeast infection in the room to his left and tho old man's leaky colon in the room to the right.
