This company's pretty sheisty and their customer service is horrible-- uninformative, rude, and a tad on the thieving side. I called in December to confirm the ending of my membership contract with them. The woman on the phone told me- yes it's over in December; but did not point out that I needed to come in person to cancel in order for Crunch to stop charging me monthly dues AFTER the end of my contract term. Never mind that I asked for confirmation that I will not owe any more money after what I thought was the last month of my obligation. The woman just said yes, yes, yes, and hung up-- I guess it is a hectic job to make high powered protein smoothies and wear work out cloth all day long. Forward a few months, and I'm getting late notices for three months worth of dues after the end of my term, with February having me owe monthly dues twice!!!
So is this bad employee training or actual company policy-- to get as much from you as they can while still appearing ok legally? I guess a contract by Crunch standards isn't what the rest of us think of a contract to be.... In sum, choose a better gym and make sure you know fully what your obligations are because no one's going to remind you and perhaps even lie when you ask.
