Found Virgilio’s from 5280. I ordered a 18” cheese pie, after one bite I knew this was real NY Style Pizza!! Real brick ovens not like Big Bills and Lil Ricci’s who claim real NY pizza but cook on a conveyor oven. The cheese, sauce, and crust brought back childhood memories. Since then I have tried the garlic knot, spinach pinwheels, stromboli, and the homemade fresh mozzarella (wow). The place is clean and warm, the game is always on and the owner was there on every occasion make sure our meal was perfect. The restaurant is small so be prepared to wait on the weekends. I go during the week, which is normally no problem. Best New York Pizza in Denver if not the West Coast.
