I tried Penske as a last ditch effort when my U-Haul / Enterprise dreams were smashed before my eyes. Their customer service was head and tails above multiple U-Haul outlets/phone operators/managers. Enterprise was cool but their deposit policy for debit cards is outrageous. Penske however worked within my tight budget to find the right fit. You can get a cargo van for $50 a day including unlimited mileage or $30 plus 59 cents a mile. Most places I checked a mile was over a dollar and change. They let me leave my car there, thoroughly explained the fine print and return was a snap. I will continue to use Penske, a brand I would have never thought to try. Sometimes it's good to try new things.
