My son got hired to work detailing cars for Fredy Kia through a former sub-contractor which Fredy Kia disposed of after owing so much money. However, my son & his supervisor continued to work for Fredy Kia under an agreement from Ruben, a sales manager at 11311 Gulf Fwy. there have been times that my son & his supervisor have had to wait a whole damn month to get paid & most of the times the weeks go by & they get no pay & when they do get paid the company still owes them money. I am also aware of the cars that they sell at this location & can honestly tell you that the mechanics are trained to disable the check engine lights on the vehicles in order to make a sale. Once that car is sold & off the lot whatever happens to it becomes your problem as they sell the cars AS IS. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau & filing a report with them on the type of business they have conducted with my son & supervisor because I am sure I can get my son's co-operation on this matter. & I will also be filing a report with the Texas Department of Labor & consulting with an EEOC attorney to make sure they pay my son his wages. It is a shame that a company demand so much from them & only pay them with "petty cash" meaning that once all employees of Kia are paid "IF there is any money left from the companies expenses & payin/ payouts THEN my son & his supervisor will be paid. Do not trust them or work for them. Even one of the sales people from there told us that he/she was taking it up with Fredy to get his/her complete pay.
