Frying Pan Park is a really cute little place that is FREE! It is part of the park service. It is really kid friendly and there are a lot of barn animals to look at. There are also a lot of horses around. Many people go here to use their horse facilities.
I know that they charge $3 for a wagon ride (ages 2 and up)...bring some cash. They have some shaded picnic areas behind the horse center.
