I thought all services these days were terrible and we just had to deal with it, but after my experience with seeing reviews written by the owners of 911 Appliance & 1-800-Appliance(Appliance Rescue Service), and their childish bickering in reviews at each other, I pretty much gave up on appliance repair companies in San Diego, and all servicers for that matter. I ran across the reviews for a company I had not heard of, ABA Appliance, and saw there over 93+ 5 star reviews on Service Magic, saw all the 5 star reviews they have on the new rating service, Kudzu, and the great reviews on Judy's Book, for this company, and it seems there was some commonality in the reviews, not attacking anyone, just clean believable reviews of a company it was hard to believe still is around and does business the old fashined way, Professional, Well Groomed Service Techs, Knowledgable, Factory Trained, Affordable, Great Pleasant demeanor, and Prompt and Courteous...who would have known that Proper Service still existed!! I gave up on it, until I called ABA Appliance, still weary that all these reviews must be just Bogus reviews as the previous companies reviews seem to be, and to my surprise, Barbara answered the phone, and was extremely pleasant, patient with me and my numerous questions, very understanding of my work schedule, and working around it, even AFTER HOURS she said she could have a tech out to fix my washer, and there still was not going to be a service call charge at all, NONE, and No After Hours Charge EITHER! I was shocked. She told me that ABA Appliance is Committed to the Customer, not just another service company, but a Professional, Factory Trained Company that was in repair to give the customer what they deserved, Proper Treatment & Service at an Affordable Price, the way it used to be, and Should Be! I was still quite weary after I hung up the phone, even though Barbara was so pleasant and accomodating, but that all was put to rest when Michael Riley of ABA Appliance, well groomed, Factory Trained and Prompt and Courteous, showed up at my door, just moments after calling me to tell me he was on the way within 5 to 10 minutes! Unheard of with servicers, they usually do not tell you what time they are coming, and then they just show up at your door, whenever that may be, or not at all! Well, this took me back many years to have a service company tell me what time they would be there, and then call when they were on the way, and actually show up ON TIME! Needless to say, Michael gace me a lot of instructional info about my problem with my washer, and a written estimate, and actually had the part with him! It took Sears 2 weeks to ORDER a part every time they came out, but this experience was just plain not beleivable, that everything was the way it should be with ABA Appliance, and Michael and especially Barbara also, when she took the call. I have had so many rude call takers that I have spoken to before with other companies, and it is unbeleivable that they think you still want them to come out being treated so badly on the front end by the person who answers the phone! Well, I am SOLD on ABA Appliance and would NEVER call anyone else as long as I live, and hope they stay in business forever, San Diego Needs this Type of Great Service from an Appliance Repair Company, FINALLY! Thank you Barbara, Michael & ABA Appliance for the great service and especially for the EXCELLENT Customer Service!
