The Family Center is a really nice organization for family oriented activities. They have a play group that meets once a week for toddlers. Throughout the year they offer a variety of parenting type courses. They also have had Mom pampering nights, scrapbooking time, baby sitting courses. These are all offered at their facility. Outings are also planned such as a recent trip to Henry Villas Zoo in Madison or the Children's (horse) Ranch in Prairie Du Chien. They also have a lending library with not only books and videos, but also equipment such as baby swings, car seats, toys. During the Center's regular hours of operation they also have play area where you can drop in with the kids. The kids can play, while you relax on the other side of the room, or catch up on stuff you brought with you.
