Like the others who have posted, I suspect that Marlene M. is confused as to which clinic she references. My cats are all treated by Dr. Hollander at BRAH, and I have found the care there to be modern, up-to-date and conscientious. The facility, which was recently gutted and remodeled, is lovely and well-equipped. I had a cat (since deceased) with chronic renal failure, hyperthyroidism and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. That cat was seen by a highly regarded cardiac specialist on the Upper East Side as well as by Dr. Hollander, and the diagnoses that Dr. Hollander had made regarding my cat were all completely accurate and thorough, as evidenced by the cardiac specialist echoing all of Dr. Hollander's conclusions. I have found every approach taken with my cats to be cutting edge in terms of up-to-date knowledge on the part of Dr. Hollander and his staff. They clearly maintain ongoing research and study into the best approaches to and advances in feline health, and their practices around keeping animals healthy are top-notch. They are not an inexpensive facility, but they are also relatively on par with the other veterinary clinics I've used in Brooklyn and Manhattan. I have taken my cats to a large number of veterinarians over the years due to frequent work-related relocations, and BRAH is absolutely among the best I've found. more
